Project

---

We are seeking an experienced Workstream Delivery Lead to manage and drive the execution of a critical workstream within a large-scale project for our banking client. This is a leadership role that demands exceptional project delivery skills, risk management expertise, and a proactive approach to achieving results. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder management, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.

Expected competences and knowledge

• 10+ years of experience in senior project leadership roles, such as Project Manager, Program Manager, or Delivery Manager
• Proven expertise in structured project delivery, risk/issue management, and planning
• Significant experience working in global financial institutions
• Strong skills in creating detailed and actionable reports for status and milestone tracking
• Deep understanding of how workstream deliverables connect to the broader project vision
• Domain expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial crime risk, and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels
• Ability to create concise spotlight or decision-option papers for senior leaders
• Demonstrated ability to inspire teams by creating a culture of confidence, learning, and trust

• Familiarity with the systems and processes of large banking institutions 

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Define and manage the scope of the workstream, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Lead the refinement of requirements and ensure deliverables meet the Definition of Done (DOD)
• Oversee development progress, ensuring smooth transitions from planning to implementation
• Guide refinement teams in prioritizing tasks and initiatives
• Collaborate with Solution Definition Leads to break down features into actionable components
• Act as the key point of contact for communication with internal teams and stakeholders
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies within the workstream, and work closely with the Delivery Manager to resolve blockers
• Prioritize features and ensure delivery aligns with workstream goals
• Prepare and present high-quality status reports and milestone updates to senior leadership
• Foster an atmosphere of trust, collaboration, and professional growth within the team
