Test Manager

Salary: 900-1100 pln/ day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (1 day per week)

Project

The project focuses on Fraud Management, aiming to enhance the detection and prevention of fraudulent activities. As a Test Manager, the primary responsibility is to oversee the testing process, ensuring high-quality standards and alignment with project goals. Additionally, the role involves supporting the team in test execution and fostering a collaborative testing environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Create a detailed Test Plan and update the Master Test Plan
• Perform testing activities while maintaining high-quality standards
• Ensure all activities are conducted efficiently and well-documented
• Work according to the latest version of the Test Strategy
• Lead the entire testing effort within scrum teams
• Coordinate test execution
• Drive continuous improvement and introduce best practices
• Ensure the availability of test environments and test data
• Identify and address testing skill gaps while coaching and supporting team members to ensure agility and quality
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders
• Perform hands-on test execution and support team members

Expected competences and knowledge

• Previous experience as Test Manager leading QA specialists in high priority projects
• Experience in testing frontend and backend solutions (manual and automaton - preferred Java)
• Good understanding of testing principles for big products and complex integrations
• ISTQB certification (preferred ISTQB Test Manager)
• Frontend, backend, SQL-databases, and Linux-based testing experience
• Understanding performance testing is a plus
• Flexibility to support manual testing
• Knowledge of issue tracking tools - Jira and HP ALM/QC 
• Knowledge of Payments, Cards or Fraud areas is a plus
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Great communication skills (English is a must) and positive attitude
• Experience in Agile ways of working
