Project

• Serving as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for initiating and validating license procurement for new and existing software assets, ensuring compliance in accordance with Client's policies and procedures.
• Proactively reviewing and maintaining Client's software portfolio and identifying optimization activities.
• Monitoring and analyzing trends in company spending and inventory control to make recommendations and identify areas for possible savings and/or asset optimization.
• Partnering with IT management to understand the strategic direction and priorities of the organization and help educate how that will impact  software assets.
• Generating  software asset reports and metrics to support IT Management in decision making.
• Researching industry best practices and comparing them against the organization's practices to establish benchmarks for managing software assets.
• Assisting in creating policies and procedures that lead the organization towards IT Asset Management goals.

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
  
• 3+ year proven hands-on experience within Software Asset domain with focus of executing on strategic direction for software asset management roadmap according to operating models and processes
  
• IAITAM Certification (or equivalent experience) in IT Asset Management desired but not mandatory
  
• Passionate and curious to keep up with trends and news within Software asset management domain
  
• You enjoy proactive hand-on work to ensure smooth operations and effective collaborations within internal stakeholders and partners
  
• Good understanding of software licensing models, contracts, and compliance requirements and ability to explain and adapt towards internal Client's IT organization
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain and create complex datasets using various analytics tools (Excel, PowerBI, AI)
  
• Hand-on experience working with ITAM tools – preferably Snow License Manager; understanding of modules of BMC, ServiceNow and CMDB is a plus
  
• As a person you are self-driven, persistent yet easily can adapt and react in quickly paced work environment and enjoy working in multi-national team
