We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Engineer, who will join to our client (multinational energy company). As a Senior Snowflake Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the Snowflake solution for our client. The project involves moving from an on-premises SQL server to a fully cloud-based Snowflake architecture, using a greenfield approach. The solutions you develop will support comprehensive stakeholder data requirements, focusing on work order and notification analysis from SAP ERP. 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Snowflake Engineer or in a similar role
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, and analytics
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture and best practices
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with ETL tools and processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Completed 1 or more Snowflake greenfield implementations
• Fluency in English (min. B2+)
• Nice to have:
  • Snowflake certification
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana, Datasphere, and CDS views
