We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to support the development and maintenance of a test automation framework for an international energy marketplace that pioneered cross-border power trading in Europe. The framework, built with Jasmine and JavaScript, supports both automated and manual testing. The role requires strong expertise in designing and implementing automated tests, along with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Designing and executing manual test cases
• Developing and maintaining automated tests
• Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers
• Working within a shared QA framework primarily based on JavaScript
• Performing API testing

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong skills in defining and executing test cases (manual and automated)
• Designing automated tests for API (REST, WebSocket, or Kafka)
• Experience in creating automated tests within an existing framework
• Ensuring readability and maintainability of test projects
• Contributing to the development and improvement of the testing framework
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate within complex domains
• Good command of English (spoken and written)

 

Nice to have

• Understanding of CI/CD processes
• Experience in test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of Playwright
