Senior MS SQL Database Backup Migration Specialist

Salary: 125 - 150 PLN/h net+vat B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are seeking an experienced Database Migration Specialist to lead the migration of 500 MS SQL Server instances from native backup solutions to Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) with Dell Data Domain.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience With MS SQL Server 2017, 2019, And 2022
• Understanding Of SQL Server Backup And Restore Operations
• Experience With SQL Server Always On Availability Groups And Failover Cluster Instances
• Proficiency With SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) And T-SQL Scripting
• Experience With SQL Server Agent And Job Scheduling
• Knowledge Of Database Consistency Checks (DBCC CHECKDB) And Corruption Recovery
• Ability To Work Flexible Hours During Migration Windows (Evenings And Weekends)

• Experience With Dell PowerProtect Data Manager
• Understanding Of PPDM Integration With SQL Server Via Application Agents
• Active Directory Integration And Service Account Management
• VMware vSphere Environment Experience
• Ability To Perform Large-Scale Database Migration Project (1000+) Databases
