Project

We seek passionate Senior Software Engineers to join our client's team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a direct impact on the business. 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design and implement scalable applications leveraging prediction models and optimization programs to drive data-informed decisions with significant business impact
• Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning (AAML) team across global locations (Portland, Boston, China, and Poland)
• Contribute to the development of core analytics and machine learning platforms and tools for model prediction and optimization
• Work in a collaborative, academic-like environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth
• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute software and expertise to internal and external analytics and engineering communities

Expected competences and knowledge

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, machinelearning, or related field
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to write robust, maintainable, and extendable code in Python
• Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular Amazon Web Services
• Experience with technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Hive, Terraform ishighly desirable
• Experience with agile development and test driven development
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Effective communication skills (with team members, the business, and in code)
