Senior Java Developer

Salary: 900-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

Modernization of banking systems through integration of legacy solutions with modern microservices architecture. The project involves building translation and routing mechanisms for card transaction processing and ensuring smooth communication with external vendor platforms. Work is carried out in an international team using Java, Spring Boot, and CI/CD practices.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Integrating legacy systems with modern solutions and external vendor platforms (specifically for card transactions)
• Developing translation and routing mechanisms between old and new systems
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable microservices
• Working closely with an international team to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Applying best practices in clean code, TDD, and continuous integration
  

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java Software Development
• Minimum 4 years of experience with the Spring framework
• Strong practical knowledge of:
  - Java 8-17 (preferably Java 11)
  - Spring Boot (Web or WebFlux)
  - Microservices architecture
  - RESTful Web Services
  - Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  - Design patterns
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
