Senior Java Developer

Salary: 1000 - 1300  PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on developing integration solutions and data flow processes within the Financial Crime Prevention area.
The work includes building and maintaining Java-based microservices and APIs, using Kafka and ETL solutions to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
The project is delivered in a DevOps-oriented, containerized environment following agile practices.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Daily working with development of functionalities related to integration and data flow processes in the Financial Crime Prevention area
• Development and maintenance of Java-based microservices and APIs supporting data flows and integrations
• Working in a DevOps way of work, including collaboration with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience working in a DevOps way of work, with a good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and collaborative delivery practices
• Strong Java skills, preferably with Spring Boot, including experience in building microservices and designing APIs
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL databases, SQL, and ETL solutions such as DataStage
• Practical knowledge of containerized and CI/CD environments, including Kubernetes, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms, especially Kafka
• Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset, combined with good interpersonal and communication abilities
• Experience with integration frameworks such as Apache Camel
• Experience working with Oracle SOA Suite
• Familiarity with Scrum and agile ways of working
• Understanding of CDC concepts, with particular focus on Debezium
