Senior IT Operations

Salary: 800 - 985 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are seeking experienced professionals for the IT Operations role to support a highly available application delivering data to multiple downstream systems. The role requires a strong development background combined with expertise in Oracle Databases, SQL/stored procedures, and ETL tools (preferably IBM DataStage), as well as experience in operational automation. We are looking for individuals with the mindset of a DevOps engineer, eager to lead and drive change, improve processes, and proactively solve complex problems as part of a team of strong and collaborative engineers. Responsibilities you'll have

• Provide end-to-end operational support for a highly available data provider application
• Design, implement and improve automation solutions to streamline daily operational tasks and drive these solutions to production
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues using a methodological approach, with a focus on identifying recurring problems and detecting patterns
• Collaborate closely with developers and demonstrate experience with DevOps practices
• Take full ownership of the operational aspects of the application, ensuring reliability, stability and performance

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong sense of responsibility for end-to-end operations
• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL/stored procedures, and ETL processes and tools (preferably IBM DataStage)
• Experience working with solutions in close partnership with development teams and familiarity with DevOps methodologies
• Solid understanding of IT operational management processes and tools, including incident handling and SLAs
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns and develop automated solutions for operations
