Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: 1000-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be part of a financial project led by a prominent Scandinavian financial institution focused on rolling out a new API Management platform based on Kong Gateway. This platform aims to accelerate integration capabilities inside the institution and with its partners, including building a new API catalogue portal hosted in Kubernetes.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and migration including EKS clusters on AWS using Terraform

• Manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for API and configuration deployment

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus/Victoria Metrics, and Splunk

• Automate operational tasks with Ansible

• Collaborate with product owners, platform teams, and security experts to ensure smooth platform operations

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments

• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible

• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, mainly EKS

• Proven track record building and managing CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, and Splunk

• Nice to have: experience with Kong Gateway or other API gateway platforms
