We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Data Modelling to become a key member of our client's data team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the data requirements are met for the implementation of a new generation Financial Crime Prevention Investigation tool. The introduction of the CDM will improve the stability, interoperability, and sustainability of the Financial Crime Prevention Case Investigations data, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and quality of the investigation processes.

In this role, you will co-design the Client's Financial Crime Prevention Investigation Canonical Data Model (CDM), ensuring its robustness, scalability, and seamless integration with related data systems. You will support business requirements while adhering to data, security, and governance standards.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experience as a Senior Data Analyst
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Experience in designing Canonical Data, Master, or Reference Data
• Proficient in data modelling
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and VBA
• Experience with Hadoop/Cloudera and Postgres DB

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spark/Scala 
• Experience working with IBM InfoSphere Data Architect 

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Co-design a fit-for-purpose CDM
• Analyze and document data mappings and transformation rules
• Understand and apply business data standards, policies, and processes
• Recognize and assess business requirements and objectives, integrating them into the CDM design
