Senior Data Analyst

Salary: 900-1050 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Warsaw (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

Join a team responsible for analyzing and modernizing a complex data environment within a large organization, operating in the financial sector. The project focuses on understanding and documenting current data lineage across legacy systems, as well as designing a future-state solution for data acquisition, integration, and modeling from strategic sources.

The goal is not only to map existing data processes, but also to propose optimized solutions that meet both business and technical needs.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Analyze legacy systems to identify data sources, transformations, and destinations
• Create detailed documentation of data flows (data lineage) and data models
• Evaluate the quality and relevance of existing data
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand data requirements
• Design and propose a future-state data solution and architecture
• Prepare technical documentation and project-related deliverables

Expected competences and knowledge

• Min. 4 years of experience in data management, IT/business analysis, or data architecture
• Architectural competence
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data flows, mapping techniques, and transformations
• Experience in solution design and system integration
• Experience with data warehouses and databases (e.g., Snowflake, DB2) as well as ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT, Alteryx)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView)
• Excellent communication skills in English 
• Self-driven with strong stakeholder management skills, including communication, collaboration, requirement gathering, and expectation management

Nice to have 

• Experience in the banking or financial sector
• Background in data programming
