Remote: hybrid from Warsaw / Tricity / Łódź (1 day in the office per week)

Project
We are looking for an Senior Business Risk Manager to support crucial financial crime prevention projects. These roles involve managing high-risk and transaction-monitoring projects aimed at achieving compliance and operational efficiency. The first project focuses on implementing measures for customers linked to high-risk countries, while the second involves transaction monitoring to meet stringent risk-related requirements. Both projects offer the opportunity to drive impactful compliance initiatives and contribute to secure, efficient financial operations
Expected competences and knowledge
- Proven Financial Crime Risk Management Experience: Ideally within the Know Your Customer (KYC) domain
- Background in Financial Crime Prevention: Prior experience in similar regulatory compliance or risk management projects
- Initiative and Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to lead initiatives and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Technical and Analytical Expertise: Skilled in addressing technical and data aspects within financial crime prevention
- Process-Driven Mindset: Ability to understand and optimize end-to-end processes
- Language Proficiency: English at B2 level or higher
Responsibilities you'll have
- Process Planning and Implementation: Develop and operationalize new processes for managing high-risk financial relationships
- Gap Analysis: Identify potential gaps and challenges within existing processes and data workflows
- Compliance and Improvement Initiatives: Drive initiatives to ensure compliance and process improvements for operational units, optimizing efficiency and reducing handling times
- Decision-Making Support: Prepare high-level decision materials to assist senior stakeholders in critical project decisions
