Project
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to develop a new automated testing framework in Java. The role involves implementing automated test cases in collaboration with developers, product owners, and business experts to eliminate manual testing. Responsibilities include managing test data, monitoring, debugging, and documenting test results. You will also drive continuous improvements in automation to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Expected competences and knowledge
- +3 years of hands-on experience in test automation, including GUI-based (Web) and service-level (REST, SOAP) testing
- Strong coding skills in object-oriented languages, with Java preferred
- Basic experience in SQL query preparation
- Hands-on experience with source code management tools (GIT) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or Docker
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Experience with tools and technologies such as Splunk, Jira, Bitbucket, MQ, REST Services, SonarQube, Kafka, and Playwright
- ISTQB certification or equivalent test automation credentials
