Production Operations Engineer

Salary: 700-900 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on Digital Wealth - Data & Analytics production operations, maintenance, continuous delivery, integration, and automation​

Responsibilities you'll have

• Drive technical initiatives and support day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Business, IT, and Suppliers to design reporting processes and products.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and stability of applications.
• Support troubleshooting, incident, and problem management.
• Improve monitoring and self-healing capabilities.
• Coordinate deployments and work closely with the extended operations team.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development.
• Participate in PI plannings and continuous customer experience improvements.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Result-oriented, hands-on mindset with ownership and drive for change
• Strong problem-solving skills; creative and innovative approach
• Ability to work under high volume and adapt to dynamic environments
• Curiosity and interest in understanding business requirements and improving customer experience
• Clear and effective communication; ability to manage stakeholders and handle reprioritization
• Understanding of technology domain, delivery options for Change & Run
• 2+ years in IT operations or system administration
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement automation
• Strong understanding of ITIL and DevOps practices
• Experience with application monitoring, automation, and self-healing mechanisms
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration with developers and IT teams

Technologies you'll work with

• Experience with Hadoop, YARN, Sqoop, Hive, Spark
• Unix shell scripting
• Familiarity with Java, Docker, Containers (LXC)
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Kafka, Snowflake, Cloud environments
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana or similar
• Tools like Confluence, Jira, Helix
• CI/CD tools (nice to have)
• SQL queries (nice to have)
