We are looking for an experienced OSS Support Engineer who will join our team responsible for the implementation, administration, and 24/7 support of Comarch Fault Management and Service Desk systems. The role includes hands-on work in system maintenance, optimization, and technical support, and requires solid knowledge of Linux, databases, and virtualization technologies. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex integration issues, improving critical IT processes, and wants to develop in the area of OSS platforms within a telecom environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting implementation of Comarch Service Desk
  • 1st and 2nd line support for Comarch Fault Management (FM) and Service Desk (SD) platforms
  • Daily administration of FM and SD systems
  • Diagnosing and solving platform issues (e.g., Kafka, Kubernetes, service/component restarts)
  • Writing and maintaining complex business rules in KEDB
  • Troubleshooting NMS system integrations (log analysis, event tracing, mediation layer diagnostics)
  • Proposing improvements and optimizations of OSS solutions together with Business Owners
  • Cooperation with Comarch vendor (maintenance, upgrades, CRs)
  • Contributing to broader OSS/NMS system maintenance
  • Participation in 24/7 on-call duty rotation

 

What we expect:


  • Degree in IT, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Comarch OSS platforms
  • Deep understanding of Comarch FM and SD architecture (participation in deployments is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and transfer knowledge within the team
  • Solid Linux server knowledge
  • Experience with containerization and virtualization (Docker, KVM)
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL)
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent communication in English (min. B2 level)
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience in telecom network operations
    • Familiarity with Groovy (for FM mediation rule modifications) 
    • Understanding of NMS platforms and integrations
