Salary: 800 - 985 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

We're seeking an Operations Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. You will be involved in a financial project focused on maintenance and continuous improvement of supported application.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Deliver technical support for internal and a third-party applications
• Cooperate on a daily basis with Development team, Business team, third-party Vendor, Infrastructure team, Database team, etc.
• Work in line with ITIL best practises (incident, work order, change, problem, task, problem investigation etc.)
• Drive and coordinate maintenance activities such as: software upgrades, license renewals, certificates renewal, hardware management., infrastructure patching activities, vulnerability process, software and hardware migration, disaster recovery tests, etc.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation about supporting application and its components
• Provide expertise on technical issues and make recommendations for technology infrastructure, software, equipment, etc.
• Take part in daily project stand-up meetings, planning meetings, etc. 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Experienced in IT industry
• Been working as DevOps / IT Specialist / IT Infrastructure / IT App Ops / 2nd line support
• Knowledge about ITIL framework and its practical usage
• Understanding Scrum / Agile way of working
• Understanding the concept of continuous integration and deployment (Ansible, Bamboo, GIT, Bitbucket/GitHub)
• Focused on maintenance and continuous improvement of supported application
• Well organized
• Proactive problem solving attitude
• Willingness to learn new technologies
