Network Senior Specialist

Salary: 1200-1500 PLN/day on B2B (negotiable)

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk / Gdynia / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on designing and maintaining scalable and secure load balancing solutions that ensure reliable application delivery across enterprise environments. The project will cover high availability setups, advanced traffic management, and integration of security mechanisms into business-critical systems.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design and implement scalable load balancing solutions to support application delivery in a financial services environment

• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing policies

• Install, configure, and maintain Citrix NetScaler appliances (physical or virtual)

• Set up high availability and failover mechanisms, ensuring reliability and business continuity

• Implement advanced NetScaler Content Switching for optimized traffic routing

• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and authentication integrations for secure connections

• Monitor performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks using diagnostic tools

• Analyze logs and events to maintain system health and prevent downtime

• Prepare technical documentation and provide guidance to junior engineers

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies

• Minimum 5 years’ experience configuring and troubleshooting both L4 and L7 load balancing

• Hands-on expertise with Citrix NetScaler (CLI/NITRO API and GUI)

• Advanced skills in high availability and failover configurations

• Advanced skills in NetScaler Content Switching

• Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management and authentication solutions

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including performance analysis

• Proficiency with tools such as Wireshark and NetScalerConsole

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and effective communication skills

• Nice to have: familiarity with Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, VMware NSX-T, or Zscaler
