Project

We are looking for a Murex Integration Expert with extensive experience in integration concepts, development, and support of the Murex system. The ideal candidate specializes in optimizing integration processes and implementing effective solutions tailored to business needs.

 

Your Responsibilities

• Analyzing stakeholder requirements and designing and developing integration solutions accordingly
• Implementing and maintaining the Murex system, managing the quality of delivered functionalities, and ensuring proper implementation
• Conducting tests at various levels (SIT/UAT) and participating in formal release cycles
• Communicating principles, standards, vision, and development plans to stakeholders and proactively resolving reported issues and concerns
• Acting as an advisor to business and IT teams to define and implement high-quality solutions
• Reporting work progress, issues, and roadblocks to the manager and other stakeholders
• Analyzing the impact of new changes on the production environment
• Closely collaborating with the project team to ensure effective integration implementation
• Developing new inbound and outbound interfaces
• Enhancing new transaction confirmations
• Configuring pre-trade workflows

 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related STEM field
• Deep knowledge of traded financial instruments
• 5+ years of experience as an integration systems analyst, business analyst, consultant, or developer on the Murex platform
• Experience in financial services projects, preferably in investment banking and risk management
• Proficiency in gathering and developing requirements and functional specifications for projects
• Expertise in Murex asset classes, including commodities and equities
• Advanced knowledge of the Murex MxML module, including complex MxML exchange workflows and formula development
• Familiarity with the pre-trade framework and MSL scripting language
• Advanced SQL skills
• Proficiency in XML, XSLT, FpML, and related technologies
• Experience working with Linux/Unix systems, including shell scripting and file transfer
• Hands-on experience in Murex MX.3 implementation, integration, and support for both linear and non-linear products
• Strong knowledge of capital markets products and related Front-to-Back processes
