Project

We are looking for a highly motivated and independent Java Developer for a migration project involving one of the main applications in the Danish Central Securities Depository (CSD) system, which serves a broad client base. This role offers significant responsibility and requires someone who not only enjoys challenges but can also effectively communicate with stakeholders to obtain essential information and make key decisions. The project involves working with legacy code, making it essential for the candidate to have experience in maintaining and upgrading existing systems. Your primary mission will be to replace outdated internal solutions for authentication and authorization with Okta and replace session management logic and request handling currently managed by a niche solution called Ceptor.

Expected competences and knowledge

• Demonstrated experience in working independently and taking responsibility for high-stakes projects
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to obtain necessary information from stakeholders
• Proficiency in working with and modernizing legacy code bases
• Experience with migration projects, especially in critical system environments
• Knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, with a preference for experience with Bamboo
• Understanding of authentication and authorization standards, especially OAuth and related technologies
• Experience or exposure to Windows Server environments
• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new or niche technologies, such as Ceptor
