Expected competences and knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL
- Experience in executing tests in a Windows-based Java application with multiple interfaces
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and API testing methodologies
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Bamboo or Jenkins
- Proficiency in implementing BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) using "Given-When-Then" and familiarity with tools like Cucumber/Gherkin
- A solid understanding of testing principles, ideally certified at the ISTQB Foundation Level
- Prior experience with manual testing
- Ability to lead and coordinate QA activities across the delivery team
- Strong motivation to drive project releases and ensure thorough testing
- Experience in preparing test plans, test cases, and securing stakeholder sign-off
- Capacity to perform regression testing whenever code is modified to address defects
- Experience in leading daily Scrum calls and coordinating all integration testing, go-live, and post go-live activities
- Proficiency in analyzing Sprint User Stories to develop test scenarios, prepare test data, and design test cases

Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to clarify requirements with the business team
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with Scrum Masters, developers, and product owners to assess project scope, requirements, and risks
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and QTest for defect management and conducting defect triage with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Cucumber-Gherkin-Junit tests creation or execution
- Basic knowledge of Scrum
Responsibilities you'll have

Create and execute test cases for the application

Understand and become proficient in existing test cases, performing regular Pre-UAT checks as needed

Participate actively in all stages of the manual testing process

Developing a comprehensive Test Plan document

Preparing detailed Test Cases and relevant Test Data

Executing tests and managing defect resolution

Compiling and submitting Test Reports

Monitoring, debugging, and documenting test results thoroughly

Prepare essential documentation, such as Test Plans and Test Reports, for sign-off with the Business team and for production release readiness
