IT Risk and Compliance Manager

Salary: 800-1000 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (2 day per week from the office)

Project

---

You will be involved in a financial project focused on ensuring IT compliance, managing security risks, and supporting regulatory requirements (ECB, DORA, etc.) within a DevOps environment. The project aims to maintain high standards of IT security and compliance across critical banking applications.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Own and manage IT risk workflows, including daily risk case handling and coordination across teams.
• Support application specialists in remediating compliance issues such as obsolete software, security vulnerabilities, and non-compliant components.
• Handle and track IT security tasks including certificate management, penetration testing, cryptographic standards, and audit follow-ups.
• Coordinate activities and remediation plans for software and infrastructure issues (e.g. unsupported Java/Python versions, EOL systems, missing monitoring).
• Act as a liaison for actions stemming from audits (e.g. PwC), internal vulnerability assessments (IVC), and InfoSec-driven initiatives.
• Drive and follow up on tasks across areas like ARP, ITSBC, BTS Dashboard, QA/Test compliance, IRMA, IIQ onboarding, and more.
• Work closely with stakeholders and ensure that all IT and compliance tasks are actively monitored and executed.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security protocols, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with IT risk and compliance processes, including vulnerability scanning and risk remediation.
• Ability to interpret and execute on compliance requirements from regulators (ECB, DORA) and internal InfoSec teams.
• Familiarity with tools and processes related to lifecycle management, application security, and audit tracking.
• Proactive mindset with strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Capable of handling multiple parallel streams of technical tasks with minimal supervision.
