IT Analyst

Salary: 800-1100 LN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on delivering scalable API-driven and data-centric solutions within a regulated environment. The role combines technical analysis, REST API design, data modelling, and system integration, working closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for translating business needs into clear technical specifications, architecture and process diagrams (UML, BPMN), while ensuring high-quality documentation, data governance compliance, and requirements traceability across the SDLC. You will also play a key role in aligning technical solutions with enterprise architecture standards and integration best practices.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design REST APIs in line with best practices and organizational standards
• Create logical and physical data models, database schemas, and data flow diagrams
• Prepare system architecture, integration diagrams, and technical specifications
• Develop UML diagrams and BPMN process models
• Create user stories with acceptance criteria (Gherkin syntax)
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business and technical requirements
• Analyze existing systems and documentation to identify gaps and improvement areas
• Document functional and non-functional requirements in a structured and traceable way
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, data governance, and quality frameworks
• Maintain documentation versioning in GitHub (or equivalent tools)
• Present findings, designs, and recommendations to stakeholders

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT analysis/system analysis
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and integration concepts
• Proficiency in data modelling and database design
• Good understanding of data governance and data management principles
• Practical knowledge of UML and BPMN
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps)
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation and documentation
• Ability to create architecture and integration diagrams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Very good English communication skills (B2 or higher)
