Salary: 1000 - 1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

You will join one of our Digital Banking units and be allocated to an SME Digital team dedicated to building digital solutions for small and medium corporate customers. The project involves the delivery and further development of a new common business banking web platform serving business customers in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and soon Norway. This initiative is part of a larger effort to deliver future-ready digital banking services. You will work as part of a dedicated agile team within a digital hub based mainly in Warsaw, collaborating with other agile teams to deliver innovative, secure, and user-friendly banking solutions for corporate clients.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Develop and maintain backend solutions using Java 11+ in an agile team environment
• Design, build and deploy REST APIs and microservices architectures
• Work with technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle DB/SQL, Git, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit5, IntelliJ, and Splunk
• Apply SOLID principles and best coding practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, performance)
• Contribute to test automation and ensure reliable software delivery
• Collaborate closely with team members within a dedicated agile team in the Digital Banking unit
• If you have frontend skills, you may also contribute to full-stack development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Solid hands-on experience as a backend developer at expert or senior level
• Strong proficiency in Java 11+ development
• Good knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle DB / SQL
• Familiarity with development tools and frameworks: Git, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit5, IntelliJ, Splunk
• Good understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and clean code practices
• Proven experience in test automation, including unit, integration, and performance testing
• Nice to have- Frontend development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 2+, Angular.JS- Knowledge of reactive programming is a strong advantage
