ETL Manual Tester

Salary: 600 - 800 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia I Gdańsk I Warsaw (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

You will be involved in a financial project focused on ensuring the high quality of IT deliveries within a leading European bank. The project consists of testing ETL solutions, performing regression tests, and working closely with development teams to secure high data integrity and system stability. You will contribute to the entire testing lifecycle, from test planning to execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with test strategy and standards.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Identify the appropriate tests required and manage test data
• Design and execute test cases, monitor results, and document findings
• Assist the Test Manager in preparing test plans and other required documents
• Perform regression testing efficiently to ensure minimal risk in ETL releases
• Report, assign, and track the resolution of ETL code issues to improve development quality
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, methods, and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize testing processes
• Conduct testing across all phases of the test lifecycle to ensure robust implementation
• Analyze and understand common ETL failures to enhance IT solution quality

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
•  Strong understanding of ETL processes, data validation, and testing techniques to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Ability to communicate fluently and write in English
• Understanding of fundamental business concepts, processes, and how IT solutions support business objectives
• Ability to adapt and respond to change
• Strong background in IT systems, software development life cycle, and general technology principles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Experience in analyzing, understanding, and translating business and functional requirements into test scenarios
• Excellent teamwork and networking
• Familiarity with test management software for tracking, organizing, and executing test cases  
• Strong reporting and documentation
• Experience in working within structured testing environments
