Project

The ECAD/MCAD Product Owner acts as the voice of customers and stakeholders within the Agile Enterprise Engineering Systems Team, which operates as part of the global IT organization. The role is part of the worldwide EES Product Owner Team and supports the company’s electronic, electrical, and mechanical engineering design operations globally.

The position is responsible for defining and coordinating product roadmaps, setting backlog priorities, and overseeing the launch, updates, and enhancements of products to meet Engineering and IT needs across the entire product lifecycle. The role also collaborates with GSM and other stakeholders to manage inventory, monitor software usage, and support software renewals and purchasing processes.

Expected competences and knowledge:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or technical lead

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field

• Good understanding of standard IT processes such as ITIL

• Experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of engineering software solutions (e.g. Siemens NX, Creo, CATIA)

• Ability to collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• Strong organizational, communication, and product management skills

• The role requires openness to occasional international business travel

Responsibilities you’ll have:

• Define product strategy and contribute to the development of product roadmaps for ECAD/MCAD solutions

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across global engineering and IT teams

• Manage demand planning and help prioritize product features based on business needs and value

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and communicate product updates

• Coordinate documentation and training materials to support released solutions

• Support financial analysis related to software licensing, usage tracking, and cost management
