Project

Join our client's team responsible for supporting APC, ALGO, and CRD applications in the Application Management area. The primary focus of the role is managing end-of-day deliveries, change and incident handling, problem-solving, and enhancing application monitoring. You will collaborate with developers and take part in optimizing and automating processes.

What you'll be doing 

• Executing daily end-of-day deliveries
• Managing incidents, problems, and changes in line with SLAs and company standards
• Providing 2nd-line support for complex applications and collaborating closely with developers
• Improving application and infrastructure monitoring processes
• Handling application performance analysis and troubleshooting
• Creating and analyzing complex queries using aggregate and analytical database functions
• Supporting applications and databases running in Unix and Windows environments
• Coordinating changes and updating documentation based on established templates
• Continuously optimizing and automating IT processes
• Monitoring IT systems, including job scheduling, and responding to system alerts

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations in a similar role
• Background in Application Support/DevOps for Windows and Linux environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash and PowerShell
• Experience working with Docker-based applications
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL
• Basic understanding of Java
• Strong analytical skills, debugging, and troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with Windows/RedHat server systems
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Great communication skills and ability to work independently
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Automic UC4
• Experience in the banking industry would be a strong asset
