Azure Infrastructure Engineer (AVD)

Salary: 900-1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on designing, deploying, and operating Azure Virtual Desktop environments used by thousands of users across international business units. The project emphasizes stability, security, automation, and cost optimization within a modern cloud-based digital workplace ecosystem.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments
• Implement and maintain AVD host pools, session hosts, application groups, and scaling plans
• Configure and manage FSLogix profiles and storage integrations
• Build and maintain golden images, image updates, and patching processes
• Monitor environments and optimize performance and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot issues related to access, latency, policies, and user experience
• Integrate AVD with Azure AD, Hybrid AD, Active Directory, and Intune
• Develop automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Azure CLI
• Ensure security compliance and governance standards are met
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, helpdesk, and infrastructure teams
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles

Expected competences and knowledge

• 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience
• Practical experience with Azure Virtual Desktop administration
• Strong understanding of VDI, FSLogix, and Windows 10/11 multi-session
• Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Log Analytics
