Project

---

Join an international team developing a modern engineering application for the analysis and simulation of offshore structures. The project is based on the latest .NET technologies (.NET 8 with a planned upgrade to .NET 10) and uses WPF as the desktop interface, along with computational and visualization components. No prior experience with desktop applications is required — the system is built on abstraction layers, and we use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in our daily work.

 

What you'll be doing

• Designing and maintaining application logic using C#/.NET 8
• Building components to run analyses on the DNV OneCompute cloud platform (Azure PaaS)
• Integrating computational components with a focus on numerical methods and data processing
• Collaborating with domain experts to translate engineering requirements into software features
• Developing modern UIs using WPF/XAML (MVVM pattern)
• Testing (NUnit), code reviews, CI/CD (Azure Pipelines), and documentation
• Leveraging AI tools for code generation, refactoring, and testing

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a .NET Developer
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET 8
• Experience with WPF, XAML, and the MVVM pattern
• Familiarity with unit testing (preferably using NUnit)
• Proficiency with Git and working in GitHub / Azure DevOps environments
• Ability to work with external libraries and Git submodules
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to work with AI-assisted tools in the development process
• Fluency in English (working in an international team)

 

Nice to have:

• Experience with numerical methods, data visualization, and simulation software
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows based on YAML and Azure Pipelines
• Experience with .NET cross-platform architecture
• Knowledge of integration with Azure PaaS services
• Familiarity with static code analysis or performance optimization tools
