Job description
What You Will Be Doing
Working alongside other developers and UI/UX designers to build business logic and features to add to the existing backend application. Optimize the existing stack and software. Work on designing and implementing REST APIs into the platform. Develop APIs that handle health information as well as retrieving data from mobile devices.
What You Must have for this Position
- Minimum 4 years backend architecture experience with Python
- Minimum 4 years experience with Django & Django REST framework
- Experience with a SQL-based database such as MySQL
- Experience creating and implementing REST APIs
- Proficiency in Git
What is nice to have for this Position
- Experience with Celery is a plus
- Shopify experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working with 3rd party APIs (Shopify, 23andme, Fitbit)
- Experience with AWS / Cloud Hosting is a big plus
- Experience with TDD and ability to write quality unit tests
