ITFS is a consulting company from the Tri-City area, with a branch in Warsaw. We are primarily engaged in recruiting IT specialists and creating project-based Software houses for our Clients from Poland and Western Europe.

Location:
100% remote 
Industry: Consulting IT
Start: ASAP (we also accept 3 months notice period)
Type of contract: B2B (via ITFS) or Permanent Contract, full-time, long-term cooperation
Rate: 120 - 150PLN net / hour (to be determined)

YOUR ROLE:
The Senior IT Project Manager leads multiple project teams to produce the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost, making sure to achieve the benefits/goals defined in the business case in the most efficient way.
He will manage the resources, schedules, financials, and quality guidelines throughout the various systems&data center migrations in the scope of the Target Operation Model initiative. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading various IT projects and programs (e.g., DC migrations, endpoint migrations, Microsoft 365, security, infrastructure), working close with business stakeholders, senior management, and IT specialists. Thriving in a work environment requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Managing several IT projects simultaneously of local/global scope, in a multicultural and international environment
  • Developing project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
  • Assembling and coordinating project team, assigning individual responsibilities
  • Managing project team, schedule, scope, budget, dependencies, and changes
  • Managing the risks associated with the deliverables of the project and project management in line with project management community standards
  • Coordination with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Preparing, coordinating, and maintaining project documentation
  • Establishing Key Performance Indicators for the project/program
  • Determining communication plan
  • Providing regular status reports regarding project progress, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across Project Board, leadership and key stakeholders
  • Providing feedback, support, project updates and encouragement to the team members
  • Regular communication to the project stakeholders and team, demonstrating “visible leadership”
  • Supporting and mentoring of Junior Project Managers in their development
  • Contributing to the Global Community of Practice for Project Managers

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

You are a dedicated person who likes to take the initiative, feels comfortable in a complex business environment, and wishes to drive things forward and making a difference. You are a reliable, organized and customer-oriented team player, who can find creative ideas and solutions for different situations and problems, and therefore integrating a wide range of interests.

  • Minimum six years of experience in managing IT projects
  • Technical background, preferably a background in IT Support
  • Proactivity with very good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak and write effectively, with emphasis on communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working effectively and efficiently in a highly matrixed, global organization
  • Experienced people manager and a great Team Player.
  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar programs; or comparable qualifications/certifications with practical experience
  • Ability to achieve excellence under high pressure
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Experience in the practical adoption of Waterfall / SDLC, Agile, SCRUM methodologies appropriate to the managed project/program
  • Confidence with small as well as bigger projects and programs, making any of these successful
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Good proficiency in verbal and written English is essential.
  • Knowledge of the German language would be an advantage.
