Itera is looking for a talented Senior Test Engineer with solid technical background, strong testing skills and excellent communication skills to become part of development team.
We are looking for an open-minded person, who confesses continuous self-development and is able to solve challenging tasks under guidance\support or by himself. Who will be in touch with managers from Nordic countries to be able to grasp technical and business aspects of the project. This position is ideal for those who are looking for the opportunity to work in the international self-motivated team, work in distributed team with modern technologies.

In this role you will:
- Being fully responsible for testing activities in the project
- Identify test scope for the system and provide estimates of test efforts needed
- Plan required test activities
- Perform requirements analysis and testing
- Assist with various test outputs, including test plans, test cases, test data, test reports, defect reports
- Perform continuous manual testing (including API testing) and bug tracking
- Perform continuous impact analysis in case of changes
- Communicate and with developers, test team and product owner
- Highlight risks and provide mitigation plans/steps
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience within software testing
- Deep understanding of core testing processes and how to implement them in a project
- Experience in web applications and API testing (Postman)
- Experience in test planning and estimating
- Knowledge of bug tracking tool(s) and process
- Experience of work in a distributed environment, dynamic team
- Experience of direct communication with a customer
- Ability to see things from the customer or end-user’s perspective
- Starting testing on the project from the scratch
- ISTQB certification
Nice to have:
- Risk-based testing experience
- Experience with SQL DBs
- Practical experience of work in Agile teams
- Experience of work with bank solutions
- Worked with Azure DevOps
