Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake)

✅ Your responsibilities:

• Lead the design and evolution of scalable data platforms and architectures

• Own ELT development in Snowflake and integration of multiple data sources

• Define data modeling standards and ensure performance, quality, and reliability

• Partner with stakeholders to shape data strategy and solve complex business problems

• Drive performance and cost optimization initiatives

• Oversee data services / APIs for scalable data access

• Own production systems (monitoring, incident management, continuous improvement)

• Mentor team members and promote best practices

• Evaluate and standardize tools in the dbt + Snowflake ecosystem

🧠 Our requirements:

• Proven experience in leading data engineering initiatives and teams

• Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake (performance tuning, query optimization)

• Strong experience with dbt and modern ELT practices

• Expert-level SQL and strong programming skills in Python

• Proven track record of designing and scaling data pipelines and large-scale processing systems (e.g. Apache Spark)

• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Amazon Web Services)

• Strong expertise in data modeling for analytics and data warehousing

• Ability to lead solution design in ambiguous environments and make sound architectural decisions

• Deep understanding of trade-offs, scalability, and system reliability
