Cloud Database Engineer

✅ Your responsibilities:

• Administration and development of databases in AWS (Aurora/MySQL, with some PostgreSQL and MSSQL).

• Query optimization and support for developers in improving query performance.

• Performance tuning for high-traffic databases.

• Maintaining and automating processes (backups, monitoring, scaling, API-driven workflows).

• Collaborating with the core team to shape the database platform roadmap.

• Participating in maintenance and possibly on-call duties (optional).

🧠 Our requirements:

• Proven experience with Aurora/MySQL administration (essential).

• Strong knowledge of AWS (RDS, monitoring, automation).

• Hands-on experience in query tuning, indexing, and performance troubleshooting.

• Bonus: experience with PostgreSQL and MSSQL.

• Ability to manage multiple databases simultaneously (40+ DBs).

• API-driven mindset (automation, scripts, Infrastructure as Code).

• English proficiency sufficient for international team collaboration.
