Senior UX Designer

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution providing cutting-edge payment solutions and innovative financial services to millions of users worldwide. You will join a dynamic Payments Engineering team, dedicated to enhancing user experiences and optimizing digital products that support secure, effortless financial transactions. This role offers an exciting chance to influence product design at a global scale while advancing your career in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive user research and analysis to identify behaviors, needs, and pain points, informing design strategies

• Develop user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps to guide intuitive design development

• Define information architecture, user flows, and interaction models that ensure seamless navigation

• Create both low- and high-fidelity wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to visualize solutions

• Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing results

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency

• Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and promote inclusive user experiences

• Apply user-centered design methodologies throughout the entire product lifecycle

• Stay updated on emerging UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality

• Contribute to the enhancement of internal design systems and documentation for ongoing efficiency

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role

• Proven expertise with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing methods

• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills for effective cross-functional collaboration

• Familiarity with front-end development concepts (React, Angular) is a plus

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

• Ability to work independently with a proactive, detail-oriented approach

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications in UX or related fields

• Experience working within Agile environments

• Knowledge of financial or payment solutions UX design standards
