Senior Manual Tester

As a Senior Manual Testing Specialist within Web and API Security, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the cybersecurity industry committed to safeguarding digital assets and ensuring resilient online environments. Your expertise will drive the development of robust test strategies to protect critical applications and infrastructures, helping organizations defend against evolving cyber threats.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and define clear, testable acceptance criteria for security-related features.

• Drive and oversee testing phases of projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for web applications and APIs.

• Participate in creating and implementing test strategies, including manual and performance test plans.

• Develop and maintain manual test artifacts, metrics, and environments to support ongoing testing efforts.

• Provide test scenarios for automation and performance testing, utilizing your deep understanding of security protocols.

• Facilitate cross-team consensus to advance project goals within Agile frameworks.

• Detect, triage, and report exceptions within application logs related to security vulnerabilities and bugs.

• Support testing in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, ensuring security compliance.

• Leverage tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, QTest, Tricentis, Zephyr, and others to streamline testing workflows.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Manual Tester within Agile software development teams.

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing theories in an Agile environment, including regression, performance, and functional testing.

• Hands-on experience designing manual tests for Web applications and REST APIs, especially with third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with API development, REST, and HTTP protocols.

• Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and test management tools like QTest or Zephyr.

• Good command of English (fluent level) for effective communication.

• Working knowledge of cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on delivery and continuous learning.

• Experience with security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, MAST), vulnerability assessment and standards is a plus.

• Certifications like ISTQB, experience with UML diagrams, process flow diagrams, and performance testing are advantageous.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience delivering process flow diagrams and process improvements for complex systems.

• Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance processes.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SAFe Scrum.

• Background in performance testing engineering and SQL.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
