Senior Kotlin Developer

As a Senior Kotlin Developer – Microservices & API Development, you will be working for our client, a leader in building cutting-edge software compliance platforms.Join a forward-thinking team creating impactful solutions that enhance development process transparency and control, leveraging modern microservice architectures. Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to build and operate scalable products.

• Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end features aligned with project priorities—focusing on APIs and microservices.

• Work closely with the engineering team to introduce new functionalities and improve existing ones.

• Engage proactively with customers to troubleshoot issues and implement feature requests.

• Build robust APIs and microservices that address complex business challenges.

• Contribute within an agile CI/CD environment to deliver quick, consistent releases.

• Participate in peer reviews, automated testing, and ensure code quality through collaborative testing efforts.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong experience in Kotlin or Java (with a willingness to learn Kotlin).

• Hands-on experience with API development, SQL/databases, HTML/Javascript.

• Good understanding of microservice architecture and modern coding techniques.

• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Fluent English (B2+ level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.

• Background in systems administration across Linux, AIX, or WAS platforms.
