Senior IAM Engineer – Cybersecurity Solutions

As an Identity and Access Management Engineer you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undertaking a large-scale modernization of its security infrastructure. You will be contributing to the enhancement of user access management processes and the implementation of cutting-edge IAM solutions across a complex enterprise environment. The role is focusing on designing, integrating, and maintaining identity platforms while ensuring compliance, security, and efficiency. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust access control mechanisms that protect critical business systems and data.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining IAM technical and process documentation

• Integrating and configuring leading IAM solutions such as SailPoint and CyberArk

• Implementing Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) to strengthen governance and compliance

• Collaborating with business owners and technical teams to achieve project milestones

• Performing application integrations with SailPoint IdentityNow, including advanced connector configurations

• Automating IAM configuration and deployment processes using Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub

• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying potential security or operational issues

• Analysing issue reports and developing solutions or fixes with minimal supervision

• Supporting cloud-based IAM deployments within Azure and AWS environments

• Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying new IAM technologies and best practices

  
  

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 3+ years of enterprise software development experience

• Strong proficiency in IAM solutions such as SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar tools

• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL

• Hands-on experience configuring connectors for Active Directory, SQL, and REST APIs

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS

• Understanding of RBAC principles and access control frameworks

• Proficiency with automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Nexus

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across teams and vendors

• Ability to troubleshoot and deliver technical fixes independently

• Excellent documentation and communication skills with a proactive mindset

  
  

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with Angular for IAM interface or front-end development

• Knowledge of ITSM tools including Jira and Confluence

• Background in security software or IT audit

• Experience with QA or testing processes, including automation and performance testing
