Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 days/week in the office)

As a Frontend Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent organization within the Global Markets Technology sector. You will be collaborating with a dedicated team of 4–6 people, closely working with business product owners to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. The focus of your role will be to enhance their digital platform, ensuring accessibility, performance, and resilience. You will be actively participating in the full development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and solution design to testing, deployment, and production support.

Your main responsibilities:

• Working within a team to develop and deliver high-quality frontend solutions
• Taking business requirements, breaking them down into stories, and iteratively delivering them to production
• Designing solutions that adhere to technology guidelines and constraints
• Identifying and addressing areas of technical debt alongside delivering new functionalities
• Pairing with other developers to enhance code quality and share knowledge
• Providing production support as part of the team’s responsibilities
• Ensuring accessibility standards are met during frontend development
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions
• Communicating effectively within a geographically dispersed team
• Continuously improving processes and enhancing system resilience

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript, CSS & Node JS (client & server)
• Awareness of best accessibility practices and knowledge of how to implement them
• Working knowledge of Unix systems
• Understanding of databases from a consumer perspective
• Knowledge of HTTP APIs, such as RESTful APIs
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of UX design principles and ability to propose improvements to business requirements
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience in high-performance frontend architecture
• Understanding of server-side rendering techniques
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue
