Senior DevOps Expert & Evangelist

Warsaw based opportunity with a hybrid work model - 2-3 day/week in the office.

As a Senior DevOps Expert & Evangelist you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial infrastructure and services supporting banks and financial institutions worldwide. The client drives digital transformation and innovation across trading, clearing, financial information, and payments. In this role, you will lead the modernization of development practices by shaping and promoting DevSecOps principles, processes, and tools. You will collaborate with engineering teams, define target architectures, and advocate for cultural and technical transformation to strengthen security, efficiency, and developer experience across the entire software development lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive the transformation of development practices towards a modern DevSecOps model

• Develop and document standards for SDLC processes and security practices

• Define target architectures and principles for DevSecOps implementation

• Gather and analyze data to propose improvements and shape strategies

• Engage with development teams to understand challenges and validate processes

• Advocate for DevSecOps adoption through demos, presentations, and workshops

• Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and architects to ensure alignment

• Support teams with onboarding to new tools and methodologies

• Mentor and guide colleagues to build knowledge and adoption of DevSecOps

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of practices and workflows

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or related engineering/architecture roles

• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and security practices

• Hands-on programming or application development experience, ideally with Java

• Proven ability in presenting, moderating, and influencing diverse stakeholders

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data effectively

• Excellent coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Communication skills in English, both written and spoken

• Ability to mentor, advise, and influence development teams

• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities in an international environment

• Project management experience

• Additional language skills (Spanish, German, or Polish) considered a plus
