As a Senior Cyber Security DLP Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, committed to safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the highest standards of cyber resilience. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s Data Loss Prevention strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening the security infrastructure that protects billions of pounds worth of transactions daily. Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment, tuning, and management of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, focusing on Data in Motion (DIM) and Data at Rest (DAR).
- Create, test, and recertify DLP policies, including whitelist guidelines, ensuring they effectively balance security and business operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across global teams to host governance meetings, review policy performance, and implement continuous improvements.
- Monitor and analyze DLP alerts, managing incidents, and driving root cause analysis to prevent data leaks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation using tools like Confluence and Jira, supporting audit and compliance reviews.
- Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity best practices aligned with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Act proactively to identify vulnerabilities, recommend solutions, and mitigate operational risks related to data security.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Data Loss Prevention solutions.
- Hands-on experience with at least two DLP platforms (preferably Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, McAfee CASB, or MIP data classification products).
- Strong knowledge of Data in Motion and Data at Rest security strategies.
- Proven experience in policy creation, tuning, and recertification, including testing and deployment.
- Excellent documentation, task management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, test planning, scripting, and defect management.
- Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience working within regulated environments, especially in financial services, is highly desirable.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting for security automation.

- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
