As a Senior Cybersecurity Automation and Integration Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization committed to advancing cybersecurity resilience. Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions for cybersecurity infrastructure, covering on-premises and modern container environments.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to identify automation opportunities, manage stakeholder engagement, and prioritize delivery pipelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying barriers and implementing agile methodologies to optimize processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring high system availability and compliance.
- Stay aligned with cybersecurity strategy, product management direction, and regulatory standards, contributing to security best practices.
- Share technical knowledge, mentor team members, and support the development of automation capabilities within the team.
- Manage progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring adherence to controls and governance processes.
- Participate in technical development, including UI/UX, scripting, and integration technologies, to enable efficient cybersecurity operations.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and web programming.
- Experience with full stack development, API design (Swagger, OpenAPI), and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of data, network, and endpoint security principles.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is desirable.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
- Experience working within agile and Scrum development frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluent level).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of UI/UX tools such as Figma, wireframing, HTML/CSS/JS.
- Certifications in cybersecurity, cloud platforms, or software development.
- Experience with system administration or application support roles.
