Cybersecurity Automation & Integration Engineer (Python & API)
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Automation & Integration Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on building scalable automation and integration solutions within a modern cybersecurity environment.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in full-stack development, automation, and system integration, who is also interested in expanding their expertise in cybersecurity domains.
- Location: Cracow/ Warsaw (hybrid model: 6 day per month from the office)
- Contract B2B( hourly rate—no additional days off)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation solutions for infrastructure and application environments (on-premise and containerized)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product stakeholders, and project managers to identify and implement improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, removing blockers and optimizing processes and tools
- Support prioritization and delivery of engineering solutions aligned with business and security objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments
- Apply Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Lean) and actively contribute to iterative delivery processes
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, security controls, and best practices
- Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team
- Work hands-on with modern DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python (scripting and/or web development)
- Experience in environments such as Cybersecurity, Software Development, or IT Operations
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles: architecture, design, and delivery
- Hands-on experience in full-stack development (frontend + backend)
- Familiarity with API design standards (REST, SOAP) and specifications such as OpenAPI / Swagger
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, JSON, and service integration patterns
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to databases (e.g. MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with Agile/ Scrum methodologies
Nice to Have
- Exposure to UI/Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, wireframing tools like Figma)
- Understanding of cybersecurity domains (data, network, endpoint security)
- Background in roles such as Systems Engineer, Application Support, or DBA
- Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
