As a Senior Cloud Security Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in global banking, dedicated to empowering organizations to manage their cybersecurity and technology risks effectively. You will play a vital role within the Cloud Technology Engineering team, enabling secure cloud-native application protection and fostering innovation through advanced cybersecurity practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather, analyze, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements for cloud security solutions.
- Lead security and threat assessments for cloud-native platforms, including automation and advanced data analytics.
- Define and document epics, user stories, and technical specifications for integrating security features within agile sprints.
- Work closely with engineering teams to maintain traceability between business needs and technical deliverables.
- Conduct workshops and demos to validate cloud security designs and integrations with internal systems and data lakes.
- Provide expert guidance on CNAPP capabilities such as vulnerability scanning, compliance, configuration baselines, and cloud security posture management.
- Map integrations and APIs between security solutions and HSBC systems, supporting compliance and security reporting.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience as a technical analyst in cybersecurity, security, and compliance platforms (SaaS/on-premise).
- Hands-on knowledge of vulnerability scanning, configuration baselines, inventory management, CNAPP, CSPM, and related tools.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments creating epics, features, and user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience with API integrations, microservices, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and DevOps processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, CIS benchmarks.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Certified Security Analyst).
- Knowledge of Databricks or advanced data analytics for security insights.
