Senior Cloud Platform Services Manager

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Senior Cloud Platform Services Manager, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to transforming banking through innovative technology solutions. Your expertise will drive the development of resilient, cost-effective cloud platforms within a multi-cloud environment, elevating operational excellence and security standards. This role offers a chance to shape the future of enterprise cloud strategies and grow your leadership impact in a dynamic, forward-thinking organization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the enhancement of platform services to achieve higher resilience and efficiency, aligning with industry best practices and internal standards.

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the operating model for platform services management.

• Define technical requirements for tooling, dashboards, and AI-based applications to improve infrastructure management.

• Collaborate with Service Management to optimize change, incident, and problem management processes, and promote DevOps frameworks.

• Apply SRE principles to improve system performance, availability, and reliability.

• Drive adoption of automation, AI, and productivity tools across the platform engineering teams.

• Potentially assume Incident Manager responsibilities to ensure rapid resolution of platform issues.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud platforms and IT service management.

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and multi-cloud operating models.

• Deep understanding of SRE practices, observability, resilience, and SDLC processes.

• Proven ability to navigate complex ITSM environments within highly regulated industries, ensuring compliance and innovation.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, vulnerabilities management, and applicable frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in automation, AI, and productivity tools usage in large IT organizations.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications in cloud technologies or SRE practices.

• Experience with other cloud providers and hybrid cloud architectures.
