Senior Platform/Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Platform/Infrastructure Engineer for one of our clients that is currently developing their new IT centre in Kraków. This an American product-based company creating on-prem & SaaS software for cybersecurity. This is the crutial position where you’ll have the opportunity to own and develop the deployment/client installation model for innovative data security platform (on-premise and cloud in the future).

This role includes Contract of Employment and hybrid model with 3 office days/week.

In this role you will: 

• Design, own, and evolve the on-prem Kubernetes architecture, used to deploy

• the data security platform, across a wide rage of customer infrastructure setups,

• Own the design and implementation of the product installer and deployment tooling (e.g. Helm charts, custom installers, scripts),

• Define best practices and resolve complex issues for cluster layout, networking, storage, security, and lifecycle management,

• Design and maintain reliable upgrade, rollback migration workflows and installation validation with minimal customer downtime,

• Establish standards for logging, monitoring, diagnostics, and supportability in customer-managed environments.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, infrastructure

• engineering, or platform engineering,

• Deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes in on-prem or self-managed environments,

• Experience building and maintaining installers and deployment tooling (e.g. Helm, shell

• scripts, custom packaging) as well as upgrade and migration paths,

• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and application layers,

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Helm, Terraform, etc.),

• At least some experience and willingness to grow within Azure infrastructure environment,

• Communicative English – min. B2.
