Senior BI Developer

Warsaw-based opportunity with possibility to work remotely

As a BI Developer you will work for our Client - The EU's leading bank and key player on the international banking scene, operating in 72 countries. You will join a brand new, state-of-the-art, technology and development Hub created to bring together the strongest players in the IT market. The successful candidate will be working with the latest technologies to develop IB Portal - an Investment Banking platform allowing the consolidation & life cycle of all origination and execution projects.

Your main responsibilities: developing, deploying, and maintaining BI interfaces

• Setting business requirements for BI tools

• Translating business requirements into technical ones

• Leading BI software development, deployment, and maintenance

• Report curation and data modeling

• Participation in data warehouse design

• Documenting contents in a data warehouse and meta-data storage

• Creating technical documentation for BI tools

  
  

You’re ideal for the role if you have: 

• Minimum 5 years of experience on a similar role

• PowerBI proficiency: PBI Desktop, DAX language, Power Query, M language, PBI Report Server, RLS

• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server (SSMS Environment:/ Advanced T-SQL), basic with PL-SQL

• Good understanding of Microsoft SSIS 

• Experience with Microsoft SSRS Report builder

• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio data tools

• Knowledge of Statistical analysis, Data visualization

• Good understanding of Star/Snowflake Schema modelling

• Team spirit and agile mindset, detail-oriented, proactivity and autonomy

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluent English

  
  

It’s nice if you have: 

• Familiarity with Power BI Service

• Knowledge of Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn...), Shell, Java

• Experience with Microsoft SSAS

• Experience with Multi-dimension modelling

• Past experience in the investment banking sector
