Senior Backend Developer

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will work for our client, a leading bank and financial institution offering a wide range of services to individuals, small businesses, and large corporations. You will join a team responsible for designing and developing back-end applications in Java using Spring Boot and building microservices in a hexagonal architecture. The project also includes integrating BPMN tools such as Camunda to automate and optimize key business processes. Your work will have a direct impact on system scalability, performance, and the overall quality of implemented technological solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Creating and maintaining microservices following hexagonal architecture principles

• Implementing post-sales processes using BPMN tools such as Camunda

• Optimizing performance of existing code and system solutions

• Participating in code reviews and suggesting technical improvements

• Collaborating with the front-end team to integrate services

• Implementing best practices for unit and integration testing

You are a perfect fit if you:

• Have advanced knowledge of Java

• Have experience in designing applications and systems

• Have practical experience working with BPMN tools

• Understand and implement microservices architecture

• Can design applications following hexagonal architecture principles

• Write clean, well-tested code

• Have experience working with CI/CD pipelines

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience working with Camunda BPM in commercial projects

• Knowledge of reactive programming in Java

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes

• Experience in the financial or banking sector

• Skills in optimizing systems for performance and scalability
