Project Manager (CRCS)

As a Project Manager (CRCS), you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, supporting their Cybersecurity Risk and Control Strategy (CRCS) team. This role focuses on managing high-priority cybersecurity projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving risk and control frameworks. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive initiatives that enhance cybersecurity metrics, governance, and exception management processes. You will oversee project delivery, track progress, and maintain governance processes while ensuring effective communication with internal teams and leadership.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting CRCS team leads in managing projects focused on enhancing cybersecurity metrics, regulatory compliance, and developing new processes for exceptions management
- Working with Technology Control Owners, 2LOD, and Chief Control Office (CCO) Technology to ensure alignment for the projects
- Managing and providing timely reports on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Tracking and reporting on project progress against the planned schedule
- Maintaining project change log, ensuring any changes to the baseline are approved and managed through change requests
- Supporting the CRCS Delivery Team in programme management activities, including responding to ad-hoc requests from PMO
- Supporting meetings and forums, including monthly SteerCo with the Head of CRCS and other senior stakeholders
- Identifying and communicating dependencies, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders
- Liaising with other CRCS teams to ensure mutual goals are achieved
- Promoting and taking accountability for project quality, improving delivery processes, and overseeing governance to reduce risk
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong Project/Programme Management background
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in international environments with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience managing stakeholders, including the Group CISO, Cybersecurity Leadership, CCO Tech, and 2LOD Resilience Risk teams
- Experience in working with technology risks and controls
- General knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
- Ability to translate complex IT concepts into business-friendly language
- Understanding of metrics and measures in managing risks and controls (KCIs, KRIs, KPIs)
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Fluent English
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mentality
- Experience working in complex corporate environments with fast-moving cybersecurity controls
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Business/Data analysis experience
- Familiarity with Helios (GRC tool)
